Ten years after the end of inter-ethnic violence in Solomon Islands, hundreds of people gathered near the Gold Ridge mine site today for a major reconciliation cermony. Landowners, mining executives, representatives of the national government and provinical authorities, the police and young people came together in Bemuta village, south-east of Honiara.
