Series premiere! Iwi show about the people, for the people, with hosts Lanita Ririnui-Ryan and Paora Crump. Tonight: Parihaka International Peace Festival, and a visit to a pa site in Kaiapoi.
KO TAWA – Sunday April 26 at 8.30 PM
A six-part series telling the stories behind a selection of taonga collected by Captain Gilbert Mair throughout his lifetime. Tonight: Te Raukaraka. Kihi Ngatai, Hauata Palmer and Reweti Te Mete tell the story surrounding a mere pounamu - greenstone mere – gifted to Gilbert Mair under special circumstances.
OMAGH (SUNDAY FEATURE) – Sunday April 26 at 9.00 PM
August 15, 1998: a bomb explodes in a crowded street in Omagh, Northern Ireland, killing 29 people and wounding others. The film focuses on the Gallagher family, who lose their son Aiden. Against a backdrop of Northern Ireland at a time when the powers that be in Britain and Ireland were attempting to stitch together the Good Friday Agreement, and a lasting peace in the troubled region.

THE FALL OF SAIGON (INTERNATIONAL DOCO) – Tuesday April 28 at 8.30 PM
In 1975 - ten years after America committed ground combat troops to Vietnam, and two years after a cease-fire agreement – North Vietnamese communists toppled the Saigon government in a lightning offensive that startled the world.
HUNTING AOTEAROA – Thursday April 30 at 9.30 PM
Season premiere! Howie Morrison Jnr kicks off with a trip down to Te Waipounamu to hunt in some of the rugged terrain of Atawhenua, Fiordland. Roy Sloan and Stuart Hamlet take Howie hunting for the majestic waipiti, which are only found in this region.
HOMAI TE PAKIPAKI – Friday May 1 at 8.30 PM
Season premiere! The return of the live, interactive singing competition that gets would-be stars from around the motu on the road, in time for Friday night auditions live at Maori Television headquarters in Auckland. Hosted by Te Hamua Nikora, viewers vote for who they want to win the weekly prize of $1000, plus the chance to compete in the final for $10,000. Repeats on Saturdays at 5.30 PM.
