Can we clarify whether they have been "arrested" (headline) and "charged" (story) or just arrested by police and yet to be charged in court ?

 

I hope someone is/was down at court to take their photos. And sharing is always cool , )

Four police officers arrested in Vanuatu for assault on publisher

27 JANUARY 2009 PORT VILA (Pacnews) --- Police in Vanuatu say four police officers have been charged with attack on the publisher of the Vanuatu Daily Post, Marc Neil-Jones who suffered a broken nose and black eye.

Mr Neil-Jones suspected that the attack on January the 17th was retribution for the publication's coverage of ongoing problems at the country's main prison.

Police South Commander, John Taleo, says the four men were identified by Mr Neil-Jones and witnesses who saw the attack…PNS (ENDS)
