Episode 4
Sydney 25 February, 2010 - In this episode of Pacific Pulse, Namila Benson looks at the bark cloth tradition of Papua New Guinea's Oro province as a small group of Omie people travel from their remote mountain village to see their work hanging in an Australian art gallery. Clement Paligaru drops by one of the Pacific's most colourful markets, the Punanga Nui Market in the Cook Islands' capital, Rarotonga, where a selection of tasty foods, handicrafts from various islands and local entertainment create a lively atmosphere that's inviting for international tourists as well as for regular market fans.
