[pima.nius] MTS Rugby World Cup Coverage

Kia orana Koutou,
Just wondering what the consensus seems
to be on the MTS, TVNZ, IRB, RWC debacle. As far as I can see the
coverage issue is just a front. Government seems to have stymied Maori
Televisions attempt at becoming a player in the game and TVNZ were
unable to put in a competitive bid to host the RWC due to Governments
inadequacy. As Pita Sharples had commented ' The Teko wil hit the
Tawhiri'.
Thoughts are most welcome.
