  first time in its history, a Tongan woman has been elected as President,Sally Dalhousie.

  Moana Ete – Up and coming singing star hailing from Wellington.

 

  Fa'alavelave - The global effect of the recession is straining Pacific

  customary giving. One such custom is the Samoan tradition of fa'alavelave –

  and there are pleas to get it into perspective.
