Announcing…The Pacifika Climate Leadership Workshop!

The Pacifika Climate Leadership Workshop (PCLW) will take place from June 14th - 17th, 2010 in Suva, Fiji. If you are between 16 and 30 years of age and passionate about the environment, have an inkling on the effects and impacts of climate change upon our islands and if you want to get involved in your community, then join us, and be part of the first ever Pasifika

Climate Leadership Workshop – a jam packed four days of workshops, panels, trainings, seminars, networking and more that will give you the skills and tools you need to be an all star advocate for action on climate change.

You will get the opportunity to meet and learn from Will Bates, one of the founders of 350.org (voted Best Climate Activism organization) and youth from NZ who have been instrumental in leading climate action work in NZ communities.

•

You will experience first hand organising and leadership skills, learn more about Climate Change Science and Policy and how you get involved and get your communities to take action on climate change.

•

Get to meet a number of prominent environmentalists and leading scholars in Fiji and be part of the COP 15 experience as retold by our panel of youth who attended the December Climate Change Negotiations.
