In celebration of Matariki, Fresh Gallery Otara presents four unique visual artists who share a distinct Maori and Pacific Island cultural heritage. Native Coconut uses humour and irony to playon the theme of cross-cultural conversations within a Maori and wider Pacific context. Printmaking, video installation and painting are offered as entry points to undrstanding thses unique positions, tensions and overlapping cultural connections.
