Manukau's first Curating Pacific Art Forum takes place this Friday 21 May at the Fo Guang Shan North Island Temple in Botany Downs. Featuring keynote speaker, Professor Konai Helu-Thaman (University of the South Pacific, Fiji) and presentations by curators Kolokesa Mahina-Tuai, Sean Mallon (Te Papa Tongarewa Museum of New Zealand), Pandora Fulimalo Pereira (Auckland Museum), Faimuina Felolini Maria Tufuna'i and Jim Vivieaere, this promises to be an inspiring and informative event for those interested in the curating of Pacific art.
