Pacific ignored by donors on MDGs, says World Vision chief
Updated
The head of international aid group World Vision says the Pacific has been largely overlooked by donors when it comes to efforts to reach the Millennium Development Goals. Tim Costello says while at least three million children's lives have been saved across the world since the inception of the MDGs 10 years ago, countries and civil societies have "dropped the ball" in many areas. The World Vision chief has been speaking at the United Nations NGOs conference in Melbourne.
