NZ Foreign Minister in Cook Islands
Updated
The travelling entourage of New Zealand Foreign Minister, Murray McCully, has moved on to Cook Islands after visiting Tonga and Samoa.
Mr McCully is drumming up support for two major events in September... The Pacific Islands Forum and the Rugby World Cup.
He's also discussing New Zealand aid to the Polynesian countries... and yesterday in Samoa he visited the western coast still recovering from a devastating tsunami in July two years ago.
Travelling with the New Zealand Foreign Minister is Radio Australia's Pacific correspondent Campbell Cooney.
He's now in Rarontonga and Bruce Hill asked him about the planned rugby match between the Kiwi and Pacific island politicians.
Presenter: Bruce Hill
Speaker: Radio Australia's Pacific correspondent Campbell Cooney
