       Job Title: IN HOUSE VIDEO EDITOR


       Start Date: August 10, 2011 (approximate)

       About us:

       Roll 'em Productions is the only video production company in the
Republic of Palau and the largest in Micronesia.  Established in
2002, the company has steadily grown to include video production,
audio production and a 24-hour television station (Oceania Television
Network).  Roll 'em consists of 7 full time and 3 part time
employees along with various interns and volunteers.  We produce a
wide variety of programming covering everything from educational and
social issues to news and entertainment.  We also host visiting
production companies to Palau such as BBC, Nat Geo and Discovery
providing logistical support, crew and equipment.

       Job Description:

       Our in house editor should be a creative individual willing to work
outside of the norm. Projects will be widely varied to include
PSA's, documentaries, station branding, commercials of all levels,
and television shows of all genres.  Hours vary and may include
evenings and weekends depending on the week's schedule.  The
editor should also be organized and a self-starter, able to manage
his/her own projects.

       The editor may also be asked to participate in other areas such as
acting as crew during studio tapings or live shows; working with field
crews or even taking on entire projects. This is a position for
someone who likes to do a little bit of everything regarding
production but can focus primarily on editing.

       Requirements:

       Fluent English speaking, reading and writing.

       Able to work flexible hours

       Works well with others in a small team

       Positive attitude, self managed

       Creative, able to contribute ideas to the company

       Able to live and work in an island environment (small community)

       Skilled in:

       Final Cut Pro

       Adobe Photoshop

       Motion (not required)

       After Effects (not required)

       Color or other color correction program

       Basic audio skills

       Mac fluent

       Other useful skills (not required):

       Maya, 3D Studio Max or other 3d Animation program

       Audio Skills (Pro tools or similar)

       Web skills

       Compensation:

       R.T. Airfare

       All permits

       Housing

       Negotiable salary
